Zelnoc glanced up from the parchment. “Did you remember all of that?” he asked Zack.

Zack nodded. “I guess so,” he said.

“Then go ahead and do it,” the wizard instructed.

Zack closed his eyes. He held his breath. He did it for a long time. Wiglaf thought he was starting to look a bit blue. Then Zack began rubbing his stomach. He patted his neck. Clearly he thought that was his gizzard. He bowed to Zelnoc and started spinning. He spun slowly at first and then started going faster and faster. He stumbled unsteadily and shouted out, “1999!”

Wiglaf held his own breath as he stared at Zack. One minute he was spinning and lurching around the DSA headmaster’s office. And the next minute-POOF ! The boy from the future vanished into thin air.
